Crowan Primary School

Welcome to Nursery

Welcome to Crowan Nursery, Praze-an-Beeble, Cornwall

Crowan Nursery is located between the villages of Praze-an-Beeble and the smaller community of Crowan, approximately three and a half miles south of Camborne. As an integrated nursery, we offer high-quality pre-school provision for children aged 2 to 4 years within the main school grounds. Our nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the absolute best start to your child’s learning journey.

Why choose our Praze-an-Beeble school-based Pre-School?

We take pride in offering a comprehensive and ambitious curriculum that supports your child to reach their full potential and flourish as a confident learner. Our integrated nursery class focuses on:

  • Warm, nurturing relationships – caring staff who build strong bonds with children and make them feel safe, secure, and valued
  • High-quality learning through play – a stimulating environment with meaningful activities that support development, language, and curiosity
  • Good communication and trust – clear, regular updates and a sense that staff listen to and work in partnership with families
  • School Readiness: A curriculum planned to ensure a smooth transition into Reception Class

Our experienced and friendly nursery team is here to support your child’s smooth transition into nursery, helping them grow in confidence and independence as they prepare for their next step into Reception when the time is right.
