Summer 2
Welcome back everyone. Another exciting half term coming up. This term we will be focusing our learning on where we live. In Geography we will be looking at all the beautiful features that make Cornwall a wonderful place to live in Geography and focusing on our field work skills in Geography as well.  
In RE we will be learning about the different celebrations and festivals that are important to many places in Cornwall. 
We will be visiting Geevor mine and St. Michael's Mount to bring our learning to life.

Pengelly were keen to get back to our PE learning. We are starting with Athletics. Today we working on our accuracy when throwing the ball. We focused on our techniques and power ready to improve our distance throwing next week. 
We had an amazing trip to Geevor mine yesterday to finish off our history topic on Cornwall mining. 
What an amazing experience at the Falconry day. We learnt a lot about these difference birds and used our own knowledge about habitats that we have been learning in class to answer his questions. Thank you to the PTFA for organising the day.
